Michael is an Energy Systems Engineering student completing his Bachelor of Applied Science at the University of Regina. He gained a decade of experience in the western Canadian energy sector prior to pursuing an engineering degree, learning skills transferable to research. His research project focuses on the development of better coatings for nuclear fuel to make it more resistant to corrosion at high temperatures. He plans to pursue graduate studies and build upon his undergraduate research.
